Similar to plasticine, oil-based clay the does not dry out.

Plasticine

YOU WILL NEED:

6 Crayons
Four 1"x1" Cubes Beeswax
Tin Can
Popsicle Stick
1.5 Tbsp Petroleum Jelly
Paper Cup


HOW TO MAKE IT:

1. Grate the beeswax using the smallest hole on your cheese grater until you have 1/4 cup of packed shavings.
2. Put the beeswax shavings shavings in a tin can, then place the can in a saucepan filled with 1-2 inches of water.
3. Simmer the water on med-low until the beeswax melts
4. Remove the labels from the crayons and add to the melted beeswax
5. Stir mixture occassionally with a popsicle stick until the crayons are completely melted
6. Remove the can from the saucepan.
7. Stir the petroleum jelly into the mixture.
8. Pour the mixture into a paper up, then let it harden in the fridge for about 30 minutes
9. Knead with your hands until it is smooth.

SIDE NOTES

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for several months
