Save some money - make your own egg dye to decorate your Easter eggs !
Eggshell Dye
YOU WILL NEED:
1 Tbsp White Vinegar
1 Cup Boiling Water
15-20 Drops of Food Coloring
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Mix the vinegar, boiling water & food coloring in a cup with a spoon.
SIDE NOTES
To dye a hard boiled egg, use some tongs to gently place the egg into the cup. Let it soak for 5-10 minutes. Remove carefully, and set it on a paper towel to dry. To do the eggshells for use in mosaic projects, remove the shells from a hard boiled egg , then rinse and clean them - Crush the eggshells with a rolling pin ( or with your fingers ) Soak the shells in the dye for 5-10 minutes and place on a paper towel to dry.
